22 Şubat’da Los Angeles Hollywood Dolby Theatre’da düzenlenecek törende sahiplerini bulacak Oscar heykelciklerine aday olan yapımlar ve sanatçıların tam listesi açıklandı.
Birdman ve The Grand Budapest Hotel, aralarında En İyi Film ve En İyi Yönetmen dalları da olmak üzere dokuzar adaylıkla bu senenin Oscarlarına damga vurdu. Clint Eastwood filmi American Sniper ve The Imitation Game’in de sekizer dalda adaylıkları bulunuyor. Çekimleri 12 sene süren Boyhood da En İyi Film dahil altı dalda adaylığa layık görüldü.
Meryl Streep ise, Into The Woods filmindeki rolüyle En İyi Yardımcı Kadın Oyuncu Oscarına aday gösterilirken inanılmaz bir rekora da imza atmış oldu. Her ne kadar bu yıl Boyhood’daki üstün performansıyla öne çıkan Patricia Arquette karşısında pek şansı olmadığı konuşulan Streep, bu adaylığıyla 19’uncu Akademi Ödülü adaylığını elde etme başarısını yakalamış durumda. Diğer yandan geçen hafta 84 yaşını bitiren usta aktör Robert Duvall da The Judge filmiyle En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu kategorisindeki adaylığıyla Oscar’a aday en yaşlı erkek oyuncu olma onuruna erişti.
